Christine Cook

Christine and her family have lived in Mukilteo for 17 years. She has enjoyed volunteering in our schools and serving on several boards and committees with local community organizations including:

Mukilteo YMCA (Vice Chair, Executive Board)
Mukilteo Youth Coalition and Teen Lounge
Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo
Operation School Bell
Kamiak Music and Athletic Boosters

Christine began her community service with the City of Mukilteo in 2009 as a Parks and Arts Commissioner where she served for 6 years. She has also helped to shape the unique character and future of our community as a member of the Mukilteo Waterfront and Japanese Gulch Master Planning Commissions and the Safe Energy Leadership Alliance. Christine joined the City Council in 2014 by appointment and in 2016 was elected to a 4-year term for Position 7.

Christine supports a collaborative and informed approach to governing; listening to and respecting all sides of issues. She believes in a fiscally responsible approach to providing an amenity rich and tightly woven community and focuses on the areas of our city where livability and vitality intersect.
